Jeannine has been a long time member of the Habitat Yorkton Family Selection Committee. She has been dedicated to ensuring there is a good fit for selected families in the Habitat homeownership program.
Lenore was a member of Habitat Yorkton during its first build and has in recent years worked tirelessly as Habitat Yorkton’s Treasurer to ensure all donations are properly accounted for and expenses for the construction of Habitat homes are properly paid and recorded.
Jen has provided leadership on the Family Selection Committee and always ensures that all families in contact with Habitat for Humanity are treated fairly and respectfully.
Ron is a relatively new member of the Yorkton Habitat group. He has provided strong spiritual leadership to the group while serving as a liaison to the Yorkton Ministerial group.
Denise is another newcomer to the Yorkton Habitat committee and has shown exceptional consideration for the well-being of our existing Habitat families.
Jerry has been taken a leadership role over the years in our very successful car raffle and in organizing numerous barbecues.
Bev is a new member of our Colour Fun Run sub-committee and has been most energetic in promoting the Fun Run and in commandeering her husband, Maurice, in building signs to promote the event.
Heather has provided a creative and energetic spark to our Habitat group through her relentless work in making Yorkton’s Colour Fun Run fundraiser a resounding success .
Derek has served as our social media expert and has been invaluable in promoting our events through social media.
Twila is an unofficial committee contributor, has been extremely helpful to our group in contributing ideas, being a key volunteer in our Drive 4 fundraising events, as well as providing liaison with the Whitespruce Training facilitiy.
Laverne has been played a strong support with our Habitat families and has been a willing volunteer with our numerous fundraising initiatives.
Gayle has been a tireless volunteer with the Habitat Yorkton committee. She began by preparing and delivering coffee on our first build. Since then she has been very involved with the Family Selection committee and has been a volunteer on virtually every fund raising initiative taken on by the Yorkton Habitat Chapter.
Gary had been a long time member of the Yorkton Habitat committee until recently when he took a leave from the committee to take on the role of the Construction Manager for Habitat Yorkton’s 7th Habitat build. Gary continues to work above and beyond his current role to ensure Habitat families have the best possible living environment.
Laurie is no longer a regular member of the Habitat Yorkton committee, but continues to be very involved by freeing her staff up to make dialing coffee runs to the Habitat build site, as well allowing her business to be used as a mail and forms drop-off and pick-up site for Habitat Yorkton.
Gwen had been a long time member of the Yorkton Habitat committee, organizing meals for Habitat volunteers and lining up volunteers for Habitat builds and other activities. Gwen continues to be willing volunteer but has stepped back from active committee membership.
