Kyrgyzstan
Kyrgyzstan is landlocked with the peaks of the Tien Shan, the world's third highest mountain range, and associated valleys encompassing the entire nation. It shares borders with China, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan; situated less than 200 miles from Afghanistan. Kyrgyzstan is 76,641 sq miles (slightly smaller than South Dakota) with approximately 5 million inhabitants.
Macedonia
Macedonia is a country located in the central Balkan peninsula in Southeast Europe. A landlocked country, Macedonia is bordered by Kosovo to the northwest, Serbia to the north, Bulgaria to the east, Greece to the south and Albania to the west. Population of Macedonia is estimated around 2 million, with 28% of the population living below the national poverty line. There are over 110,000 homes that are in need of immediate reconstruction, due to unsafe construction, poor maintenance and lack of sanitation.

Tajikistan
Tajikistan is located in Central Asia and Borders with Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan and China. Tajikistan is 143 100km2 with approximately 6.8 million inhabitants. Habitat for Humanity has been working in Tajikistan since 1999 – the only organization in the country supporting low-income families to get out of poverty housing.
