Families must apply to be Habitat homeowners. Habitat Regina accepts applications once per year. You must attend an information session to apply.
We have completed our Homeownership Information Sessions until Fall 2020. If you would like to be notified when these sessions are scheduled, contact us to add your name to our Homeownership Information Session contact list.

Our application has four (4) parts:
This process can take anywhere from six to nine months. Once an application is approved, it can take anywhere from 12-18 months for your home to be completed.
If chosen, families are required to contribute 500 volunteer hours towards building their homes. These volunteer hours will be completed at the build site, in the ReStore and in the community.
Habitat homeowners purchase their homes with zero downpayment. They pay an interest free mortgage set at 25% of their gross household income.
