Families must apply to be Habitat homeowners. Habitat Regina accepts applications once per year. You must attend an information session to apply.

Our application has four (4) parts:
This process can take anywhere from six to nine months. Once an application is approved, it can take anywhere from 12-18 months for your home to be completed.
If chosen, families are required to contribute 500 sweat equity hours towards building their homes. These volunteer hours will be completed at the build site, in the ReStore and in the community.
Habitat homeowners purchase their homes with zero downpayment. They pay an interest-free mortgage set at 25% of their gross household income.
