Family Services Manager

Full Time, Permanent Family Services Manager

Habitat for Humanity Regina, Inc. is a non-profit organization that works to break the cycle of poverty through affordable homeownership for low income, hard-working families.
We are looking for an empathetic, approachable, flexible and foresighted problem solver with strong communication skills to join our team as the Family Services Manager.

This position is responsible for overseeing the Family Services Department of Habitat for Humanity Regina, Inc., and all its actions, under the supervision of the Chief Operating Officer, to serve those in need of safe, decent and affordable housing.
This department represents the program to the public at large as well as to partner families and homeowners while also advocating on behalf of the families we serve. In conjunction, this position actively participates on the Management/Leadership team to assist in decision making related to the direction and actions of Habitat for Humanity Regina.

The Family Services Manager will play a role in all 3 phases of the Department's actions, which include the Application, Partnership, and Homeownership Phases.

These duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Recruit a suitable number of family applicants for partnership and match families to suitable


  • Provide family selection guidance, support and assistance to Chapter Locations

  • Manage and maintain all partner family records and documentation confidentially

  • Ensure partner families meet all requirements

  • Identify problems with partnering relationships and develop a plan of action

  • Conduct annual income reviews and alter mortgage payments accordingly

  • Supervise the Family Services Coordinator

  • Responsible for Family Services policy and process development, maintenance and compliance

  • Explore opportunities for growth to address concerns and/or to provide a more robust program

    Weekend and evening work is required. Travel is also required, both within Regina as well as our Chapter locations in Yorkton, Moose Jaw and Estevan, on occasion.
